Isolated Communities Are Now Migrating to Crypto
IDGO offer blockchain tools specific for isolated communities. Cultural heritage bearers can now leverage their efforts with culture mining. IDGO allows culture miners (artists, traditional farming, traditional constructions, etc.) to issue their own tokens to be certified by their community. This allows each community to issue their unique cryptocurrency to be used by their members, tourists and businesses. With the public KINWA token directly pegged to all community currencies, the token holders can use KINWA directly in each community within IDGO ecosystem or keep the token as its value increase with the adoption of IDGO solutions. For isolated communities, IDGO blockchain tools will provide identity services, tourism incitatives and social finance.
IDGO strives to strengthen self-governance and promote sustainable development of the 370 million indigenous peoples across the globe. Poverty, environmental and social issues are widespread among indigenous communities. Their lands are hidden gem that masses yearn to visit and yet the revenue from tourists is mostly taken away from them. IDGO project aims to create a blockchain ecosystem owned by the indigenous communities to maintain their rights and freedom. To achieve this, IDGO will provide tools to create digital identities, exclusive community tokens and other social finance services. By giving control to the community, the revenue received from tourists will stay within the community for uses including environmental protection, education and cultural continuity. The benefits of the participants in this project comes naturally with the economic growth of the indigenous communities.
